Went to the performances last night. I don't think I am suited to write for the stage. In other words it didn't go well last night. They changed many of the lines and changed a character name. I know the director is allowed to change some things but did she understand that each of those lines was crafted for a specific reason. I didn't just throw some stuff down on the page. Furthermore, when a stage direction says to an audience member - say the fucking line to an audience member not just to the air around you. The point was to draw in the audience because it was a topic everyone can understand. Oh well, I need to go back to bed.
