White Stripes

I love the crazy college experience. I called Tory yesterday at lunch to tell him we needed to have a preproduction meeting. He wanted to do it at the White Stripes concert. We'd been invited by the Kerr twins - they interned at the Reel Fest. Oh course I'm going to say yes! That's just part of living life: something awesome is happening and you make sure you're there to witness it.

I've never really been a fan of the White Stripes, but I am now. No one told me Jack could play the slide guitar or the steel guitar or the vibes. As far as sheer energy is concerned, the White Stripes top the list. Jack only addressed the audience twice and never really paused between songs with only a three minute break between sets. Furthermore, many of the guitar licks were reminiscent of Jimmy Page. WOW!

It appears I have some CDs to buy and a concert tee that must be worn!
